Role Overview
SuperOrdinary is seeking a strategic and commercially minded Growth & Partnerships Manager to support brands and retailers launching and scaling on TikTok Shop and emerging social commerce marketplaces.
This role sits within the Partnerships & Growth org and serves as both a program manager and strategic advisor to enterprise brands, retailers, and internal teams. The ideal candidate combines marketplace expertise, structured program management, and executive-level communication skills to guide partners through successful launches and long-term growth.
This individual will act as a trusted consultant — ensuring partners understand what to do, when to do it, and why it matters — while aligning cross-functional teams to drive measurable commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
1. Launch Program Management & Advisory (TikTok Shop)
  • Serve as the primary program manager and strategic advisor for brands and retailers launching on TikTok Shop.
  • Guide partners through launch readiness, including operational setup, go-to-market sequencing, and platform best practices.
  • Maintain structured launch timelines and ensure alignment across brand stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Translate marketplace requirements into clear executional roadmaps.
  • Identify risks, gaps, or blockers and proactively recommend solutions.
  • Act as a marketplace subject matter expert throughout the launch lifecycle.

2. Strategic Consulting & Executive Education
  • Provide strategic recommendations to brand leadership on how to successfully enter and scale within TikTok Shop.
  • Educate executive stakeholders on social commerce dynamics, platform expectations, and growth levers.
  • Lead workshops, strategy sessions, and executive briefings.
  • Develop frameworks and POVs around TikTok Shop growth strategies, launch sequencing, and performance optimization.

3. Portfolio Growth Strategy
  • Partner with Account Management teams to identify growth opportunities across SuperOrdinary’s existing brand portfolio.
  • Conduct monthly or quarterly business audits evaluating performance across content, affiliates, livestream, paid media, and marketplace fundamentals.
  • Deliver actionable strategic recommendations to brands based on performance insights and market trends.
  • Support long-term growth planning and roadmap development for partner brands.

4. Cross-Functional Alignment
  • Collaborate closely with Account Management, Creator, Paid Media, Livestream, and Operations teams to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Help translate strategy into clear priorities for execution teams.
  • Ensure brands follow proven launch and scaling processes across marketplaces.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years’ experience in eCommerce, marketplaces, social commerce, consulting, digital strategy, or brand growth roles.
  • Deep experience within Beauty, Personal Care, or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industries is strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of TikTok Shop, Amazon, or marketplace ecosystems OR strong category expertise with demonstrated digital commerce experience.
  • Experience advising brands or retailers at a strategic level.
  • Strong program management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex marketplace concepts to executive audiences.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment.
