General Manager (Creator-Focused)
About the Role
We are seeking a product-minded operator and creator economy leader to help shape the next chapter of growth for a rapidly scaling creator-focused business within the SuperOrdinary ecosystem.
Reporting directly to executive leadership, this role will serve as the business lead for the platform, connecting strategy, product innovation, creator success, and operational excellence. You'll partner closely with cross-functional teams across product, technology, growth, and creator success to drive sustainable growth, deepen creator engagement, and unlock new monetization opportunities.
This is a highly cross-functional leadership role for someone who understands that successful creator platforms are built at the intersection of technology, culture, and community. The ideal candidate combines strong business judgment with sharp product instincts and a deep understanding of creator behavior, Gen Z audiences, internet culture, and emerging digital trends.
Operating with a lean, high-impact team, this business supports a rapidly growing ecosystem of creators whose success fuels the platform. This leader will play a critical role in ensuring the business remains a category-defining destination for creators while continuing to drive meaningful growth, engagement, and innovation.
Creator Ecosystem Growth
- Scale and strengthen the creator ecosystem by helping creators build sustainable businesses and deeper audience relationships.
- Identify emerging creator trends, behaviors, and opportunities before they become mainstream.
- Champion a creator-first approach across product, partnerships, and growth initiatives.
Product & Platform Strategy
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering to shape the platform roadmap and prioritize initiatives that drive creator and fan value.
- Champion features and experiences that increase engagement, retention, monetization, and platform differentiation.
- Translate creator feedback, market signals, and cultural trends into actionable product strategy.
Business Leadership & Execution
- Align cross-functional teams around clear priorities, measurable goals, and high-impact execution.
- Drive performance across creator acquisition, activation, retention, engagement, and revenue growth.
- Establish operating rhythms, KPIs, and decision-making frameworks that support scalable growth.
Creator & Industry Relationships
- Build trusted relationships with leading creators, talent managers, agencies, and industry partners.
- Serve as a key voice of the creator community internally and represent the business externally.
- Develop partnerships that expand the platform's reach, influence, and creator opportunities.
Culture & Brand Relevance
- Keep the business at the forefront of the creator economy by staying deeply connected to shifts in internet culture, social behavior, and creator needs.
- Help define how the platform shows up in the market and maintains its position as a trusted and innovative destination for creators.
- Foster a culture of experimentation, learning, and creator obsession.
Organizational Leadership
- Lead and develop a high-performing team while creating alignment, accountability, and clarity across the organization.
- Manage business performance against growth, operational, and budget targets.
- Balance long-term vision with day-to-day execution to deliver sustainable results.
