Overview

SuperOrdinary is building the future of branded content where creators, storytelling, and commerce converge. We are hiring a Senior Manager, Branded Content Partnerships to lead and scale our branded content and multi-episode (e.g., microdrama) offering.

This is not a traditional partnerships role. This person will act as a creative deal closer — owning revenue while also leading ideation, pitching, and selling breakthrough content concepts directly to brands. You will be the face of SuperOrdinary in the room, translating business goals into content that drives both cultural relevance and measurable commerce impact, particularly across TikTok.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Deal Ownership

  • Own partnerships end-to-end: pipeline → concept → pitch → close → execution → expansion
  • Lead all brand conversations, confidently selling both creative vision and commercial value
  • Structure and negotiate deals across production, creators, distribution, and media
  • Drive revenue against aggressive growth targets

Creative Leadership & Pitching

  • Lead ideation live with clients, developing:
    • Microdramas and episodic series
    • Creator-led formats and talent integrations
    • Livestream-integrated content concepts
  • Turn briefs into big, sellable ideas that stand out in-market
  • Present and defend creative concepts to senior stakeholders (CMO, Brand, Innovation leads)
  • Balance storytelling, platform-native execution, and performance outcomes

Client Leadership & Growth

  • Act as senior strategic and creative advisor to brand partners
  • Build long-term relationships that evolve from campaigns into always-on content systems
  • Identify and drive expansion into:
    • TikTok Shop
    • Affiliate and creator ecosystems
    • Paid media and livestream

Cross-Functional Execution

  • Partner with Creative, Creator, Production, and Growth teams to bring ideas to life
  • Ensure creative integrity while aligning to performance and commerce goals
  • Help shape how SuperOrdinary packages, sells, and scales content offerings

Ideal Profile

  • 6–10+ years in branded content, creative strategy, partnerships, or agency environments
  • Proven ability to sell creative ideas and close deals
  • Strong creative instincts — able to ideate, pressure-test, and elevate concepts in real time
  • Comfortable leading high-stakes client conversations and presentations
  • Deep understanding of creator ecosystems and short-form content platforms
  • Experience tying content to business outcomes (revenue, conversion, growth)
  • Hybrid mindset: part creative, part operator, part seller
  • Thrives in fast-paced, build-from-zero environments
