Job Description


As an Operations Assistant, you will work directly with the VP of Operations and other team members to ensure that day-to-day tasks are carried out smoothly and efficiently. In this role you will be the main point of contact to the corporate team on all operational and financial updates. You will help with administrative tasks, assist in streamlining operational processes, and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the business. The ideal candidate will have a great passion or interest in social commerce. 


Key Responsibilities:  

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operational workflows and optimize resource allocatio
  • Monitor weekly operational progress and provide actionable recommendations for process improvement and efficiency
  • Manage the Office Operations Coordinator and support office administration as needed
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the accounting team to address invoices, expenses, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. Assist in reconciling financial discrepancies and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Prepare, update, and present Profit and Loss (P&L) statements bi-weekly. Perform detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and refine financial strategies.

Qualifications: 
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, operations, or related roles.
    • Experience working with accounting processes (AR/AP) and financial reporting.
    • Previous experience managing administrative or operational staff is a plus.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in financial software, spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets), and accounting tools (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite).
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
    • Proactive mindset with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
    • ​​​​​​​Entrepreneur or building a business is a plus
